Akeiva is a financial planner and educator. She works as the Financial Education Specialist at Ballentine Partners, a financial planning firm serving high net worth individuals and families. She is also the founder of The Bemused, a financial education brand catering to young adults. In 2021, she was named to Investment News’ class of 40 under 40 - the youngest to grace this list in its 8-year history. Akeiva earned a Master of Science in Financial Planning (MSFP) from the McCallum Graduate School of Business at Bentley University. She is a CPA, Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. She currently serves as an ambassador for the CFP Board and has been quoted in various media outlets, including The Boston Globe, Business Inside, OppLoans, Tiller, and Bankrate.
